TVS Jupiter gets a new update in the form of ‘intelliGo’ technology, which is nothing but engine start-stop technology. TVS Motor Company calls it ‘intelliGO’ technology, which shuts down the engine when idling for a long time. The engine will automatically start with the twist of the throttle. The feature will come in handy while waiting at a traffic signal.

The engine start-stop technology will improve fuel efficiency. Currently, only the ZX Disc variant of the TVS Jupiter gets the ‘intelliGO’ technology. The good thing is, the price of the scooter remains the same at Rs. 72,347 ex-showroom (Delhi). With the latest update, the TVS Jupiter becomes the first 110cc scooter in India to get engine start-stop technology.

The scooter draws power from a 109.7cc air-cooled BS-VI engine producing 7.3bhp and 8.3Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. Other features of the scooter remain the same. The Jupiter ZX Disc variant is available in two colour options: Royal Wine and Starlight Blue.

The TVS Jupiter comes with features such as an LED headlamp, digital-analogue instrument cluster, USB mobile charging socket, external fuel filler cap and much more. Coming to cycle parts, the Jupiter is equipped with telescopic forks upfront and 3-step adjustable coil spring with hydraulic damper at the rear.
