Tata Motors has launched the new Tiago Limited Edition variant in the Indian market The Limited Edition variant of the Tata Tiago is priced at Rs. 5.79 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The new variant of the hatchback is based on the XT trim and will be available with only a manual gearbox option.
The Tata Tiago Limited Edition gets several additional features when compared to the mid-spec XT variant. The Limited Edition model gets blacked-out 14-inch alloy wheels, a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and voice recognition and a rear parcel tray. Apart from that, the Tiago Limited Edition also comes with features such as dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors, keyless entry, power windows and much more, carried over from the XT trim.
The Tiago Limited Edition draws power from the same 1.2-litre petrol engine, which produces 86bhp and 113Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Limited Edition variant does not get the AMT gearbox option, which is available on the XZA and XZ+ trims.
Speaking about the launch of Tata Tiago Limited Edition, Vivek Srivatsa (Head of Marketing, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors) said, “Since its launch in 2016, the Tiago has been very successful in its segment and has been appreciated by all. Following the same, the product’s BS6 version was introduced in 2020 which also received a 4-star safety rating by GNCAP at launch, making it the safest in its segment.”
