Red Bull Racing has taken the wraps off the new 2021 Formula 1 car — the RB16B. Red Bull Racing has rejigged the driver lineup for the 2021 Formula 1 season. Sergio Perez has joined the squad to team-up with Max Verstappen, as Red Bull is looking to challenge Mercedes.

The newly unveiled Red Bull RB16B car doesn’t look different when compared to the 2020 car. With the development restricted to aerodynamics, the RB16B features only some changes to the aero parts. However, the car might feature updates once the season is underway on March 12, 2021, with the commencement of pre-season testing in the Bahrain International Circuit. The first race, that is, Bahrain GP will be held at the same circuit on March 28, 2021.

Talking about the livery, the biggest change on the Red Bull car is the missing Aston Martin branding. Apart from that, the rest of the livery remains almost the same as last year with Honda (engine partner) and Red Bull branding.

In the 2020 Formula 1 season, Red Bull Racing managed to win two races and ended up second in the constructors’ championship. This year, Red Bull is hoping for a better start and close the gap to the dominant Mercedes. The recruitment of Sergio Perez has given a boost to the team as the Mexican driver brings ten years of Formula 1 experience to the table.
