Lexus has revealed its all-new ES facelift ahead of hitting the international markets. The 2021 Lexus ES Sedan comes with the latest exterior styling, some cosmetic changes, and technology-led equipment updates.
Along with the improved driving dynamics, the new luxury sedan looks more refined and modern. To speak about design updates, the car gets a revised spindle grille and Bladescan adaptive LED headlamps. Besides, the alloy wheels are now offered in 17-inch, 18-inch, and 19-inch sizes, with multiple colour and design options.
On the inside, the central infotainment display of the new ES is moved closer to the front seat occupants, and it offers a touchscreen facility. This touchscreen is available in two sizes – 8-inch and 12.3-inch based on the variant you choose to buy. Other interior revisions include an updated brake pedal and the braking system.
Lexus ES Sedan also receives the latest Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 suit of active safety features that comprises curve speed reduction system with the radar cruise control, emergency steering assist, intersection turning assist, new radar and lens camera.
2021 Lexus ES facelift gets some tweaks under the skin, such as a stiffer rear suspension set-up and the adjusted electronic brake management system for better control.
There are no updates on the engine of the new Lexus. However, we can expect it to carry the range of hybrid and petrol engine options from the current ES line-up.
The updated Lexus ES Sedan will continue to rival the likes of luxury cars like BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E-class, and Audi A6. The entry of the 2021 Lexus ES sedan to India may happen sometime in the near future, following the launch in the global market.
