MG Motors has released the images of its soon-to-be-launched all-electric sports car concept, the Cyberster. Also, teased last year in May, the Cyberster EV will finally be unveiled globally on 31 March.
Except for the images, no other details are disclosed by the company. In the newly shown teaser, we can see a long bonnet in red, lowering towards the front with a front grille edged by round interactive headlights. MG Cyberster EV also gets a dual shovel-type lip with Cyberster embossing, which is designed aerodynamically.
To speak about sides, the new electric car is inspired by an MGB Roadster convertible shape. You can see an LED strip running across the body with bulging wheel arches. The wheel size is unknown, but the carmaker says that the Cyberster is packed with rotating spokes alongside a central locking system.
To look at the rear end, the two-door electric sports car comes with vertically stacked LED tail lamps, which are again designed for better aerodynamics. Also, a thick bar of horizontal LED outlines the rear.
As for the interiors, MG promises to include a gaming-type cockpit as well as 5G connection capabilities. In short, the company is aiming to target Gen Z via Cyberster. It also claims an 800km range and a sprint time of fewer than three seconds from 0 to 100kmph.
MG Cyberster EV could be the successor to the E-Motion concept, highlighted in 2017.
