Hyundai Motor India reveals the official name of its upcoming 7-seater SUV as ALCAZAR. The new Hyundai Alcazar is based on Creta styling and appears to be a premium version of it.
Hyundai Alcazar gets its name from the Moorish castle or palace of medieval times. In fact, the Korean carmaker says the Alcazar draws inspiration from the royal lineage of castles and palaces, showcasing luxury. Besides, the new SUV is also said to redefine tech-savvy customers’ driving experiences with its versatility and futuristic features.
The company re-emphasizes its commitment to the Indian market with the Global Debut of the upcoming 7-seater premium SUV that is ‘Made in India’ as well as ‘Made First for India.’
Hyundai Alcazar will be better equipped than the existing 2020 Creta SUV in terms of features and equipment. It gets cascading grille with mesh pattern, dual exhaust ports, LED taillamps, split LED headlamps, roof rails, revamped bumpers, front parking sensors, and more.
The actual dimension of the 7-seater Creta-based SUV is unknown. However, we can expect it to receive 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre diesel, and 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine options.
Upon launch, the Hyundai Alcazar will compete with the new Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and the upcoming new-gen Mahindra XUV500.
