Austrian motorcycle manufacturer Husqvarna has revealed the new Svartpilen 125 for the global market. The Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 is a scrambler-style motorcycle with an aggressive and funky design, which attracts the young audience. The baby Husky is an ideal choice for anybody who is just getting into riding motorcycles.
The overall design of the Svartpilen 125 is similar to it’s elder sibling, the Svartpilen 250. All the body panels and other design elements remain the same. The 125cc Husky also gets the same circular digital instrument cluster.
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 draws power from a KTM-sourced 125cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 14.2bhp and 12Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Svartpilen 125 features a side-slung exhaust as opposed to the underbelly exhaust seen on the KTM 125 Duke.
Coming to the cycle parts, the Svartpilen 125 is equipped with WP USD forks at the front and WP mono-shock suspension at the rear. Other features of the motorcycle include LED headlight and disc brakes with ABS. The international-spec model features spoke wheels. The Svartpilen 125 is expected to hit the Indian shores this year, but it might feature alloy wheels similar to the 250cc models.
