American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has launched the Pan America 1250 adventure-tourer in the Indian market. The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 carries a price tag of Rs 16.90 lakh for the standard model and Rs 19.99 lakh for the Special variant. Both prices are ex-showroom (India).
The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Standard model comes with features such as a 6.8-inch TFT touchscreen display with Bluetooth connectivity, type-C USB port and all-LED lighting.
The Pan America 1250 Special variant gets additional features such as adjustable semi-active suspension, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), steering damper, heated grips, centre stand and optional Adaptive Ride Height (ARH) system. ARH is a segment-first feature that automatically lowers the suspension by up to 50mm when you come to a standstill.
The adventure-tourer draws power from a 1,252cc Revolution Max, V-twin engine producing 150bhp and 127Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox assisted by a slipper clutch. Specifications remain the same on both variants.
The Pan America 1250 is equipped with fully adjustable 47mm Showa USD forks up front and mono-shock suspension at the rear. The motorcycle gets 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels.
The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 locks horns with the likes of BMW R 1250 GS and the upcoming Ducati Multistrada V4. Bookings for the Pan America 1250 have already begun.
