After two decades of launching first-gen Fabia, Skoda is finally here with the fourth-generation car. The all-new Skoda Fabia has been unveiled internationally with VW Group’s modular MQB-A0 platform.
Unlike its third-gen predecessor, the 2021 Fabia looks larger and gets the latest mechanical upgrades. With 4108 mm in length, the car is now 111 mm longer than the existing model and comes with a wheelbase of 2564 mm, increased by 94 mm.
Besides, the new-generation Skoda Fabia gets a class-leading 380-litres of boot space, which can be expanded to 1190 litres. The car boasts a sleeker body with a reduced drag coefficient of 0.28.
To speak about exteriors, the fourth-generation Fabia boasts adjustable cooling shutters in the front, contrasting Black Magic/Graphite Grey color for the roof, front grille frame, full LED headlights, and side mirror caps.
The new Skoda Fabia gets grille-mounted radar for the safety and assistance systems, as well as Park Assist sensors that work at up to 40 kmph and help you control steering.
On the insides, the 2021 Skoda Fabia receives a complete revamp. Now, the new car highlights a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, heated steering wheel, heated windshield, central air vents for the rear seats, dual-zone climate control, and LED ambient lighting.
The new-generation Fabia is offered with five engine options. From a 1.0 MPI to the 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI, and with a power of up to 150PS, the car is designed to offer smooth performance.
At present, Skoda India has no plans of bringing Fabia to the Indian market. However, the company will launch Skoda Kushaq SUV and Kodiaq Facelift in India soon.
