Isuzu Motor India has introduced the new BS6 MU-X SUV in the country. The Isuzu MU-X 4×2 AT variant carries a price tag of Rs 33.23 lakh and the top-spec 4×4 AT variant costs Rs 35.19 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi). The 2021 MU-X does not get any major updates.
The BS6 avatar of the Isuzu MU-X draws power from the same 1.9-litre diesel engine producing 161bhp and 320Nm of torque. Isuzu offers a 6-speed automatic gearbox as standard. The 4×4 AT variant gets a shift-on-fly four-wheel-drive system.
Isuzu has not overhauled the features on the MU-X. The SUV comes with the set of features such as Bi-LED projector headlights, LED DRLs, chrome treatment for the front grille, split tail light cluster, 18-inch alloy wheels and much more.
The interior of the u[dated MU-X features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, soft leather seat upholstery and much more. Other features include cruise control, six airbags, traction control, park assist, rear view camera and engine start/stop button.
The BS6 Isuzu MU-X is a full-size SUV and locks horns with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Mahindra Alturas G4 and MG Gloster. Isuzu has also launched the new BS6 V-Cross and D-Max High-Lander in the country.
