Chinese automaker CFMoto teased the BS6 compliant 650GT motorcycles ahead of its launch in India. We can expect it to hit the Indian store in the coming months.
Besides, we can also expect the company to launch its BS6 compliant bikes at frequent intervals this year. Because, just a week ago, we saw CFMoto teasing the launch of 650NK, and not many days after, the company has teased its another motorcycle BS6 compliant 650GT on social media.
The company did not attain any star spot in India since its operation in 2019, particularly with the BS6 emission guidelines as well as increased cases of COVID19. However, CFMoto has never lost faith in the Indian market and seems like it has a long-term plan here.
The BS4 650GT model carried a liquid-cooled 649.3 cc twin-cylinder unit, mated to a 6-speed gearbox, and produced 62bhp and 58.5Nm of peak torque. The new motorcycle engine is likely to remain the same, but with minor changes to accommodate the BS6 emission norms in India.
We cannot see any major changes in the teaser image. We can expect the BS6 650GT to receive the same styling as the BS4 model but with new colour options. Other features include a split-style seat, a steel tubular frame, a USB charging port, a 12V socket, a sloping fuel tank, an upswept exhaust, a full-LED lighting system, and an adjustable windscreen.
To talk about price, the all-new CFMoto 650GT is likely to get the same price tag as its BS4 model, which was Rs. 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The BS6 CFMoto 300NK was launched in India a few weeks ago with the same price tag as the BS4 model.
