Bajaj Auto has introduced the new Platina 110 ABS in the Indian market at Rs 65,926 ex-showroom (Delhi). The newly launched Bajaj Platina 110 comes with a segment-first feature in the form of a single-channel ABS. The new model is based on the Platina 110 H-Gear.
The Bajaj Platina 110 ABS is equipped with a 240mm disc at the front with single-channel ABS. On the rear is a 110mm drum brake setup with CBS. Apart from the addition of ABS, the Platina 110 also gets an analogue twin-pod instrument cluster as opposed to the analogue-digital instrument cluster on the Platina 110 H-Gear.
The commuter motorcycle continues to draw power from the same 115cc air-cooled engine producing 8.4bhp and 9.81Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The Platina 110 ABS comes with features such as knuckle guards, LED DRL, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and a quilted seat. The Platina 110 with ABS is available in three colour schemes: Beach Blue, Volcanic Red and Charcoal Black.
