Aprilia released a new official video highlighting the engine and curves of the gorgeous sportbike Tuono 660. The new Tuono will be priced at 9,700 GBP (around Rs. 9.82 lakh).
This sport bike belongs to the same family as the Aprilia RS660 supersport, according to the revelations. It’s likely to get the similar sophisticated electronics suite and engine as RS660, but with output de-tuned to produce around 95bhp.
The chassis and running gear of the all-new Tuono will be as close to the bike it’s derived from. Aprilia Tuono 660 share the same suspension, brakes, and swingarm as RS660. Besides, the Tuono 660’s top fairing will resemble that of the RS660 and the Aprilia RSV4.
To speak about electronics, the new generation versatile Tuono 660 comes with the most advanced mid-size performance features such as two-track modes, three-road riding modes, cornering ABS, wheelie control, traction control, cruise control, engine braking control, and standard up and down quick shifter.
The Aprilia Tuono 660 is made available in three colour options – Iridium Grey, Concept Black, and the new Acid Gold. These colours will set new standards of style and aesthetics in the motorcycling space.
The Tuono 660 is the second model in the new 660 cc twin version, whereas the third model, the Aprilia Tuareg 660, is planned to be launched later this year. The Aprilia Tuono 660 and RS660 will be offered on sale in India after India-specific homologations. We can expect both these sport bikes to launch in the second half of 2021.
