TVS Motor Company has launched the 2021 Apache RTR 160 4V in two variants – with disk brake and drum brake. The disc brake model will be sold at Rs. 1,10,320 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the drum brake version gets a price tag of Rs. 1,07,270 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Company’s powerful street-naked bike costs Rs. 3,000 more than the 2020 model. Besides, it weighs lesser than the predecessor. In fact, the 2021 Apache RTR 160 4V is 2 kgs lesser, making it 147 kg for disk brake variant, whereas 145 kg for drum break model.
The new Apache bike gets more power than the previous model. Although it is powered by the same single-cylinder, four-valve, 159.7 cc, oil-cooled engine, it is capable of producing 17.4bhp and 14.73Nm of torque. The engine is packed with a 5-speed gearbox. These highlights make the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V the most powerful motorcycle in its class.
The rest of the new Apache RTR 160 4V remains untouched. It still has an aggressive design consisting of an LED headlight with LED DRLs, LED tail-light, and a single-piece seater. Hardware components also remain the same, with a telescopic fork and a mono-shock at the front and rear, respectively.
2021 Apache RTR 160 4V is available in three colour options –Knight Black, Racing Red, and Metallic Blue.
