The Dodge Durango SUV is all set to receive a significant update. The 2022 Dodge Durango will feature a host of updates to the design. While the previous generation models of the Durango SUV did not sport substantial updates, it’s all set to change with the introduction of the new model.

All trim levels of the 2022 Dodge Durando will feature updates to the exterior design. The updates may include a new front fascia, revamped bumper, redesigned tail light cluster, new wheels and new colour options. The majority of the updates will be concentrated on the front fascia, and the side profile of the SUV is likely to remain the same.

Coming to the SRT variants of the Durango, they are likely to get a new rear spoiler and new air intakes.

The most exciting part of the Dodge Durango was the introduction of the SRT Hellcat 710hp model. The other variants of the Durango including, SXT, GT, Citadel, R/T and SRT 392, are also being updated with new technology and a driver-focused dashboard and cabin.

The Durango has got an aggressive look thanks to the new front fascia, LED headlights, LED DRLs, new hood, front grille and a new rear spoiler. On the Hellcat SRT model there are new air intakes that replace the fog lights, and the SRT 392 variant got a new front splitter and rear spoiler.

Currently, there are three grille textures across the Durango models: the gloss black grille on the Hellcat with a wide opening for cooling, a wide black honeycomb grille on the R/T, GT and SRT 392 models and the Granite Crystal grille on the Citadel and SXT variants.

The Dodge Durango is a powerful SUV. It is capable of hitting top speed that is incredible in terms of SUV standards. The 2022 Dodge Durango gets an optional 6.4-litre Hemi V8 engine churning out 475hp and 460lb-ft of torque.

The SRT Hellcat model pushes the limits with a V8 engine capable of pumping out a massive 710hp and 645 lb-ft of torque.

Other engine options include a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine churning out 295hp. The SX, GT and Citadel models draw power from a 5.7-litre V6 engine. The high-performance SRT 392 model draws power from a 6.4-litre V8 engine.

The SRT trims of the Durango also get a flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters as standard. They can also be had with the GT and R/T models as an optional feature. The SRT logo on the Hellcat model is illuminated in red colour, and the SRT 392 gets a logo illuminated in white colour.
