Suzuki has unveiled the 2021 Suzuki V-Strom 1050 and 1050XT in new colours for the European market. The bikes get a fresh look; however, the flagship Suzuki models doesn’t highlight any mechanical upgrades.
Suzuki V-Strom 1050 comes in an all-new colour option – Candy Daring Red/Glass Sparkle Black. Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT is offered in four attractive colours – Pearl Brilliant White/Glass Blaze Orange, Metallic Oort Grey/Glass Sparkle Black, Champion Yello No. 2/Glass Sparkle Black and Glass Sparkle Black with grey, gold decals, and gold wheels.
The latest V-Strom 1050 has similar electronic features as predecessors, but with slight differences like cast alloy wheels and no engine bars and hand-guards. It is powered by the same 1037cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 90-degree v-twin engine, which produces 106bhp and 100Nm of peak torque.
The Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT comes with the standard engine bars, hand-guards, wire-spoked wheels, and a centre stand. Besides, it also gets additional features like aluminium hard-case panniers and a top box, totalling 112 litres of luggage space.
There is no update on the Suzuki launching the new V-Strom 1050 in India. However, the company sold the V-Strom 1050 in India a few years ago. Currently, we can see only the Suzuki V-Strom 650XT in our market.
Recently, the company launched the updated Hayabusa in India at Rs. 16.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
