MG Motor India has launched the 2021 ZS EV in the Indian market. The 2021 MG ZS EV electric SUV is priced at Rs. 20.99 lakh for the Excite trim and the top-spec Exclusive variant carries a price tag of Rs. 24.18 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom Delhi. The overall design of the electric SUV remains the same, but it gets some updates under the skin.
The 2021 MG ZS EV is equipped with a new 44.5kWh Hi-tech battery pack. MG Motor India states that the claimed driving range has been increased to 419km as compared to 340km. The company has also said that the electric SUV delivers a real-world driving range of 300 to 400km on a single charge. The electric motor continues to produce 141bhp and 353Nm of torque.
Another update on the 2021 MG ZS EV is the increased ground clearance, which stands at 177mm. MG has also revised the placement of the battery pack, which now sits 205mm above the ground. The eco-friendly SUV also gets a new feature in the form of Ecotree Challenge.
The new feature of the MG i-Smart EV 2.0 connected car technology allows the owners to track the carbon emissions and also compare it with other EZ EVs on the road.
Talking about the availability of the ZS EV, MG has stated that the electric SUV will be available in 31 cities across the country. The company has expanded availability of the ZS EV in India, and it may help to boost the sales of the electric SUV.
