The much-awaited 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift will hit the Indian roads in the coming months. Yes, Maruti Suzuki has already listed the new 2021 Swift on the official website. Apart from that, the Indian automaker has also released a teaser video of the upcoming 2021 Swift.
On the design front, the 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift features a chrome strip on the mesh-pattern front grille. The front grille also gets the chrome surround treatment for a premium look. The 2021 avatar of the Swift might also get the blacked-out roof and newly designed alloy wheels. Apart from that, the rest of the design remains the same.
The interior of the 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift will also remain more or less the same as the current-gen model. The 2021 Swift will continue to get features such as a coloured MID for the instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system, flat-bottom steering wheel and much more. The new addition to the feature list is the cruise control, which is expected to be offered on the top-spec trims.
The prominent highlight of the 2021 Maruti Swift is the next-gen K-Series petrol engine. The new K12N petrol engine comes with an idle start-stop system. The same engine can also be seen on the new Dzire compact sedan. Note that idle start-stop is not mild-hybrid technology, which is seen on the Baleno. Maruti Suzuki is also expected to offer the proven 1.2-litre petrol unit with the new 2021 Swift.
The new 2021 Maruti Swift might cost a bit more than the currently sold model. Expect the new 2021 Swift facelift to be launched in the coming months.
