Kawasaki has launched the updated Ninja ZX-10R in the Indian market. The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R BS6 carries a price tag of Rs 14.99 lakh ex-showroom (India). The updated supersport motorcycle features a revised design and mechanical upgrades.
The Ninja ZX-10R draws power from a 998cc, in-line, four-cylinder engine producing 200bhp (210bhp with RAM Air intake) and 114Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine complies with the latest emission norms.
The motorcycle gets a larger 41-tooth sprocket at the rear for better acceleration. The engine also gets upgrades such as a finger follower valve actuation system and a new air-cooled oil cooler.
The motorcycle is equipped with a new swingarm, fully-adjustable Showa Balance Free Fork at the front and mono-shock suspension at the rear. The rear suspension also features reworked internals which improves the overall handling.
On the design front, the 2021 Ninja ZX-10R is sharper than the previous model. The updated motorcycle gets new design elements such as winglets on the upper cowl, redesigned tail cowl, aerodynamic upper cowl and repositioned handlebar and footpegs. The new Ninja ZX-10R is available in two colour options: Flat Ebony Type 2 and Lime Green.
The motorcycle is loaded with new features such as a TFT display for the instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and all-LED lighting. Electronic riding aids include traction control, launch control, cruise control, power modes, riding modes, ABS and much more.
