Kawasaki has launched the updated 2021 Ninja 300 BS6 in the Indian market. The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 carries a price tag of Rs 3.18 lakh ex-showroom. The BS6 avatar of the fully-faired Ninja 300 is dearer by Rs 20,000 compared to the BS4 version. In December 2019, Kawasaki had discontinued the BS4 Ninja 300.
As expected, the 2021 Ninja 300 does not feature any dramatic changes. The only update comes in the form of a BS6 compliant engine. The motorcycle draws power from a 296cc parallel-twin engine producing 38.4bhp and 27Nm of torque. The power output also remains unchanged. The motorcycle comes with a 6-speed gearbox assisted by a slipper clutch.
The overall design of the 2021 Ninja 300 remains the same except for the new body graphics. The new decals on the motorcycle go well with the styling of the Ninja 300, which is inspired by the bigger Ninja models. The MY2021 Ninja 300 is available in three colour options: Lime Green, Candy Lime Green and Ebony.
Talking about the features, the motorcycle gets the same analogue-digital instrument cluster. Other highlights of the Ninja 300 include 37mm forks up front, mono-shock suspension at the rear and disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 rivals the likes of TVS Apache RR 310 and KTM RC 390.
