The all-new Jawa forty-two, a.k.a. Jawa 2.1, has been launched in India at Rs. 183,942 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike is made available for retail across Indian Jawa dealerships starting today.
The company is now offering the bike in three new colours – Sirius White, Orion Red, and AllStar Black, with an all-black theme for mechanical parts. Besides, Jawa 2.1 receives some major upgrades in the new edition. It gets 13-spoke alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, fly-screen and headlamp grille as accessories. It comes with a throatier and alluring exhaust note, improved seating, and fine-tuned cross port engine.
The new bike is powered by the same 293 cc liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engine and generates a maximum power output of 27bhp and 27Nm of peak torque. Jawa also makes some changes to the engine, such as the usage of cross port technology to enhance volumetric efficiency, supports the improved flow of charge and exhaust gases, to produce better power and torque.
Moreover, the engine’s repositioned lambda sensor monitors the internal and external variables efficiently so that the bike delivers consistent performance and clean emissions. To speak about the suspension and frame, the 2021 Jawa 42 gets it re-tuned to achieve better ground clearance and improved riding and handling experience.
New Jawa forty-two comes with a wide range of accessories, such as custom-made saddlebags, stays, etc. The new bike’s alloy wheels will also be available for retail at dealerships if you wish to use them for your existing motorcycles.
