Ducati has launched its flagship naked motorcycle, the Streetfighter V4, in the Indian market. The Ducati Streetfighter V4 carries a price tag of Rs 19.99 lakh. The V4 S variant costs Rs 22.99 lakh, and the V4 S Dark Stealth variant will set you back by Rs 22.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom (India).
The Streetfighter V4 borrows the engine and electronics package from the Panigale V4. The Streetfighter V4 also gets bi-plane wings. The top-spec V4 S variant gets Ohlins electronic suspension, steering damper and lightweight Marchesini wheels.
Ducati has also introduced the Streetfighter V4 S Dark Stealth matte colour scheme with silver accents on the radiator, footpegs and exhaust cover. The standard V4 looks aggressive with sharp design elements and a single-sided swingarm. The bi-plane wings are mounted on each side of the body panel, and they are said to generate 28kg of downforce at 270km/h.
The Streetfighter V4 draws power from a 1,103cc V4 engine producing 205bhp and 122Nm of torque. Ducati also offers an optional Akrapovic performance exhaust that increases the power output to 218 bhp and decreases the weight by 8kg.
The Streetfighter V4 is equipped with 43mm Showa Big Piston Forks at the front, Sachs mono-shock suspension at the rear (Both are fully adjustable) and Sachs steering damper. The V4 S gets an Ohlins suspension setup with an event-based steering damper.
Electronic riding aids include three riding modes, cornering ABS, wheelie control, traction control, engine brake control and much more. The motorcycle gets a 5-inch TFT display. The bookings for the Streetfighter V4 are already open, and deliveries will commence as soon as the dealerships are allowed to operate.
